Management Team


Robert King is Executive Director of Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services, managing all lines of business for the global organisation. Rob has been with Moody’s for 17 years, serving the company in a variety of roles during his long tenure. He was appointed Executive Director for Global Sales, Customer Service and Marketing in July 2013 after previously managing Moody’s Analytics Sales teams in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Asia-Pacific regions. Rob is currently based in London, but was previously stationed in Hong Kong as part of his former role.


Paul manages the Quantitative Services and Fund Marketing Services division at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services. Paul has over 23 years of experience in capital markets on both the research and trading sides. He was Chief Economist Asia (ex-Japan) at Nomura, Regional Financial Economist at Lehman Brothers, and a visiting Professor of Finance at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.


Damian leads the sales and marketing organization at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and product development and is responsible for developing sales pipeline, achieving sales targets, and building and expanding senior client relationships. Prior to his role at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services, Damian was Senior Director-EMEA and Africa Sales. He managed a team covering key European markets, including the UK, Germany, and Italy. Prior to joining Moody’s, Damian was Managing Director-EMEA Sales, Marketing and Client Services for Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ. Earlier, he was Managing Director of S&P’s Investment Services group.


Arun leads the Investment Banking and Investment Research divisions at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services. He has over 17 years of experience across multiple domains, including capital markets, corporate finance, and business finance. Arun has managed large offshore teams for investment banks and Fortune 500 corporations, providing investment banking, investment research, business research, and data analytics services. Prior to his role at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services, he was Head of Global Research and Bangalore Site Head for the Global Banking and Markets business of HSBC. Earlier, Arun was Director at CRISIL’s Global Research & Analytics Division, leading multiple businesses, including investment and corporate research, and product development functions. He is an MBA in Finance & Control and has an Honors degree in Mathematics.


Samar is the Global Head of the Shared Services Organization at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services. He has more than 20 years of experience in Operations, Risk Management, and Outsourcing Management. Prior to taking up his current role, Samar led the Vendor Management Office for Moody’s IT in New York. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2010, he was an Executive Director at UBS Financial Services, where he led large scale outsourcing and transition programs in the ITO/BPO space for the bank’s Wealth Management Division in Weehawken, NJ. Prior to UBS, Samar worked in the Cross Border Office of Mellon Bank responsible for Outsourcing Advisory Services for the bank’s LOBs. Earlier, he was Head of Operations for Intelligroup. Samar holds a degree in management studies from BITS Pilani, India.


As CFO of Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services, Shailendra leads the company’s business planning, controllership, taxation, treasury and budgeting activities. He brings over 20 years of experience in finance, having worked on large M&A transactions, fund-raising activities, board and investor relationships, business enablement, and established finance teams for global corporations. Prior to his role at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services, Shailendra was CFO of ISGN, a financial technology and services company. He also held key leadership roles at JPMorgan, GE Capital, and Ocwen Financial. Shailendra is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, is a qualified CWA, and holds an Honors degree in Commerce from Delhi University.
